Reading is like an adventure. In every story you can get SO into a book, you feel like you are there. You feel like the characters are close friends, and sometimes you can feel like the same thing is happening to you. Can't you?

It's Coming on ISTEP...

Yesterday, as I was yanking the neatly-created anchor charts off the wall, leaving behind blue painter's tape littered with teeny tiny paper shreds, the song with the lyrics “It’s Coming On Christmas/ They’re Cutting Down Trees” came into my head…except for us it seems like “It’s Coming on ISTEP/ They’re Pulling Down Charts.”

Not nearly as catchy a tune. Just a random thought from a random sort of mind...Mine.
